Privacy Policy for TheoLogan

This Privacy Policy describes how TheoLogan, operated by Logan Lancour, collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to https://theologan.org.
1. Information Collected
Currently, browsing TheoLogan does not require an account and does not require you to provide any personal information. The site is a static portfolio of theological writing and does not track individual visitors.
Server logs. Like most websites, TheoLogan’s hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the referring website. This information is used for site security, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not used to personally identify you.
If you contact Logan. When you email Logan at lklancour@gmail.com, your email address and the contents of your message will be received and stored by Google (Gmail), subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
If you donate (planned). Once the donation form is live, donations will be processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Donorbox, or similar). That processor will collect your name, email, billing address, and payment information, subject to its own Privacy Policy. TheoLogan does not directly receive or store your payment card details.
If you subscribe to email updates (planned). Once the email signup form is live, you may voluntarily provide your email address (and optionally your name) to a third-party email service (e.g., Mailchimp, Buttondown, or similar) to receive newsletters and updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email sent.
2. How Information Is Used
Information collected through the site is used only to:
- Operate and maintain the website,
- Process donations you choose to make,
- Send you email updates you have requested,
- Respond to your messages,
- Improve content based on aggregate traffic analysis, and
- Comply with legal obligations.
Personal information is not sold or rented to third parties.
3. Cookies and Tracking
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. The site’s full-text search is powered by Pagefind, which runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit your queries to any server. Embedded third-party services (such as a future donation processor or email signup) may set their own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Children’s Privacy
TheoLogan is not directed at children under the age of 13. Personal information is not knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, please contact Logan and it will be deleted.
6. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Request access to the personal information held about you,
- Request correction or deletion of that information,
- Unsubscribe from email communications (once available), or
- Ask questions about how your information is used.
