A Few Things About Me

Logan Lancour in graduation regalia after completing the MBTS Accelerate Program, May 2026.

My name is Logan Lancour. I graduated from Spurgeon College and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO, through the Accelerate Program — a dual degree program in which students earn both a bachelor of arts and a masters degree in five years. I hold a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity degree as of May, 2026. Prior to Midwestern, I spent two years at Amarillo College in Amarillo, TX where I further developed a deep love for reading, writing, philosophy, and religion. Amarillo is still my home.

During school, I learned quite a lot about God and His people. Although my denominational affiliation is Presbyterian, I truly do my best to understand all denominations of the Christian faith as well as other religious traditions. As one called to ministry, I am firmly committed to sharing my theological studies with those around me. I pray that my work expositing the Scriptures, sharing writings and events of Church history, and elaborating on various theological documents will benefit your walk with Christ.

I am preparing to continue my studies at the Th.M. and Ph.D. levels with a research focus on Christology and Sacramentology.

At the beginning of Summer 2024, a professor of mine suggested I look into publishing my coursework in a book. Therefore, I decided to set up this website as a resource while preparing for publication. When that does happen, the content of this website will remain available for free, but it will also be made purchasable elsewhere.
